Underwater archaeological prospecting and trials with a suction dredger were carried out on the extension to the quay denominated “antemurale di ponente”.
Once the work-yard had been set up, identifying the points for dredging, 18 trials were made by underwater technical operators with a suction dredger, each single operation being filmed live with video cameras set on the diving helmets, sending the images to the surface.
